Town of Milan Monthly Meeting Minutes, November 13, 2017

Meeting called to order by Noel Houze, council President, on Monday November 13, 2017 at 6:30pm. All Present joined in giving the pledge of Allegiance. All Council members present.

Minutes of October 9, 2017 were read. Minutes from October Meeting were approved as written. Don Call made motion with Melissa Baker seconding. All ayes.

Claims/Financials: After review of the bills presented, motion to accept and pay claims made by Don Call, seconded by Melissa Baker. All Ayes. Motion carried

Town Manager's Report: Same presented by John Ingram, Town Manager.

Town Marshall's Report: Same presented by Phillip Wilson.

Milan Park Board Report: No Board Present.

Concerns/Comments from the public:

Question from citizen concerning side by sides. Noel Houze informed him that this would be addressed tonight.

Greg Seever presented a request for the area around Dogwood Street to be cleaned up and potholes fixed. He stated that this is a continuing problem for the residents living on this street.

Question was raised as to weather Dogwood was on the list for the next repaving project. Melissa Baker stated it is not. John Ingram was not present for this discussion, but, was asked later if this could be fixed. John stated that he was aware of the growth problem and that it would be taken care of within the week. Pot holes could be patched.

Old Business:

Park Board not present for request for funding. Request tabled until member could be present.

New Business:

Ordinance 11-13-17-1 was presented for consideration by the Council. After discussion of various concerns, the Council agreed to pass the Ordinance under Suspension of Rule. Melissa Baker made motion to implement Suspension of Rule with Don Call seconding. All ayes. Motion passed.

Melissa Baker made motion to pass Ordinance with Don Cali seconding. Ail ayes. Motion passed. Ordinance would become effective 30 days after publication.

Don Call moves to adjourn meeting, Melissa Baker seconds. Ali Ayes. Meeting adjourned.
