Public Hearing for Budget called to order by Paul Hildebrand, there being no questions/comments from public. Hearing was closed.
Meeting called to order by Paul Hildebrand, council President, on Monday September 14, 2015 at 6:30pm. All Present joined in giving the pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes of August 10, 2015 were read. Minutes from August Meeting were approved with spelling correction.
Claims/Financials: After review of the utility bills presented, motion to accept and pay claims made by Robert Branigan, seconded by Melissa Baker. All Ayes Motion carried. After review of the town bills presented, motion to accept and pay claims made by Robert Branigan, seconded by Melissa Baker. Motion Carries with all ayes.
Town Manager’s Report: Same presented by John Ingram, Town Manager.
Town Marshall’s Report: Same presented by Robert Branigan.
Milan Park Board Report: No Board Present.
Concerns/Comments from the public:
Pastor Sue presents this year’s plan for the crop walk in town. It will be the same route and it will be October 4th at 1:30pm. Paul states she will need to speak with Officer Skaggs to make sure the route is ok. Paul, Robert and Melissa see no problems with this pending Gary’s Approval.
Rita asks about having the County send the Corrections Department to work at the town. John states he has been trying to work out a time and area for them to work. He states he will be getting ahold of them soon.
Old Business:
John Presents quotes for the new street signs. Melissa moves to purchase signs, Robert Seconds, motion passes with all ayes. Money to be taken from MVH or LRS.
Robert moves to ordain 7-13-2015-1 and 7-13-2015-2. Melissa seconds and motion carries with all ayes.
New Business:
Irv Amberger presents four corner solicitation for 3pm-4pm. Robert moves to waive fee. Paul seconds and motion carries to waive fee and allow solicitation with all ayes.
