Meeting called to order by Don Call, on Monday June 10, 2019 at 6:30 pm. All members present. All Present joined in giving the pledge of Allegiance.

Don Call reminded all present to be courteous to other speakers during the meeting.

Minutes of all May meetings were presented to Council. Deb Shumate made motion to approve as written, Floyd Fox seconded. All ayes. Minutes approved.

Claims/Financials/Payroll: After review of the claims presented, motion to accept and pay claims made by Floyd, seconded by Debbie. All ayes. Motion carried.

Town Manager's Report: Same presented by John Ingram, Town Manager. John informed Council about the cost of crack sealing. Two skids would be $5040.00. He stated he needed Council approval to proceed. Council asked him to inquire about getting one skid and how far it would go. Debbie made motion to table until more information is available, Floyd seconded. All ayes.

Town Marshall's Report: Same presented by Phillip Wilson, Town Marshal.

Milan Park Board Report: No member present. Don Call gave update on behalf of Park Board.

Concerns/Comments from the public:

Susan Richards presented to Council photos from where she fell in meter pit and hurt her leg. Don Call informed her to contact our insurance carrier.

Old/Continuing Business:

Ordinance 2019-05-13-2 (stop sign at Main and Carr) and Ordinance 2019-5-13 (clarifying littering) were approved for second reading. 2019-05-13-2 by a motion from deb, second by Floyd. 2019-5-13 by a motion from Floyd and a second by Debbie. All ayes. Both Ordinances passed. Ordinance 2019-5-13-1 (prohibited parking ) will be revised by Attorney Fledderman and submitted to Council at a later date.

New Business:

Don asked Council members to change having an alternate date for solicitations. Lynn will look into any existing resolution and if none can be found, she will create one. Deb made motion to eliminate alternate date and Floyd seconded. All ayes.

Don Call asked John Ingram to ditch Mill Rd. John said they will do work when time permits.

Motion was made by Deb Shumate to provide funding on next year's Budget for Safe Passage, Lifetime Resources, Milan Fire Dept and Ripley County EMS. Floyd Fox seconded. All ayes.
