Meeting called to order by Noel Houze, council President, on Monday April 11, 2016 at 6:30prn. All council members present. All Present joined in giving the pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes of March 14, 2016 were read. There being no correction to said minutes, they were approved.
Melissa Baker asked for a correction to the article printed in the newspaper.
Claims/Financials: After review of the bills presented, motion to accept and pay claims made by Don Call, seconded by Melissa Baker. All Ayes. Motion carried
Town Manager's Report: presented by John Ingram, Town Manager. Town Marshall's Report: presented by Gary Skaggs, Town Marshal
Park Board: Don Call reported he is working on getting Board together.
Concerns/Comments from the public:
Wayne Kirsch was present and informed the board that the property on Washington Street is in the process of being sold.
No burn was waived for Jeff Meinders for burning the debris for the dam clean up. Noel suggest giving hours for the burn by May's Council meeting. He also wanted to know what type of accelerant would be used. Melissa Baker made a motion to approve pending plan for the burn. Don seconds. All ayes.
Old Business:
Garbage Specs- no changes. Melissa motions to approve. Don seconds. All ayes
New Business:
Park Board-Don Call presented names of the new board. Melissa motions to accept. Don seconds. All ayes.
John Ingram asks for permission to start using Eugene and Jamie Byrd for the Park maintenance and cleaning. Melissa motions to begin. Don seconds. All ayes.
Clerk presented Application for Solicitation submitted by Milan Community Dollars for Scholars.
The Organization would like to reserve the August 6, 2016 date. Melissa motions to accept. Donn seconds.
Resolution on transfer of property needs approved. Melissa motions to approve. Don seconds.
Misc. Business:
Maintenance on Sewer Treatment Plan; Melissa motions to approve maintenance. Don seconds. All ayes.
